I've been fighting with my computer

For those curious, I haven't neglected my blog :). I've bee having computer problems and to top that off I've been sick this week. When it rains it pours. so the saying goes.
But on the up side my computer is working okay and I finally have a beautiful banner for my shop. Mary, from Graphic Confections created a beautiful branding set for me, she is such a joy to work with. I am so happy with my graphics.
Just as long as my computer holds up, I'll be posting on a regular basis now.

Great Vintage

I am excited about the new items I added to my shop. This weekend I found some beautiful vintage German Books dated between the 1800's-1900. They are lovely and oh so charming.

I decided to add another section to my shop,Vintage Photographs. This was not my orignal intent upon opening Bluebird's Cove, but I think it will make a nice addition to my shop. I found two stunning photographs this weekend, one is a girl wearing a beautiful communion dress and the other photograph is of a mother and her two young daughters.

I love vintage decor and I am excited that I have this opportunity to share my passion with everyone.
Happily Vintage,
Elle

Rich Chocolate Decorative Books

I have a new set of decorative books in my shop. I hope you enjoy them.

This collection has shades from rich dark chocolate to milk chocolate hues. This heavy set is in nice condition and would make a beautiful neutral addition.
The two psychology books are coprighted 1963, while the Hour Game is copyrighted 2004.

My Story

I opened up my shop Bluebird's Cove, in August of 2012. Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed about owning my very own book store. My grandmother and I would talk for hours about books and about my dream. She encouraged me to make my dream a reality. She was my rock, my inspiration.

I named my Shop Bluebird's Cove as a tribute to my grandmother. Her favorite bird was bluebirds and we would pack a picnic and enjoy our favorite cove in California. I hope she is smiling down my me, as I am smiling up at her.
